General Information:

It is a multilayer board consisting of wood particles, where are thicker in the center and thinner at the surfaces. They group together with resin and are pressed under controlled pressure, time and temperature.

Workability and recommendations:

The chipboard should be used fittings and screws. To insert a screw guide suggests making a hole with a diameter of about 50% of the outer diameter of the screw to use. The drill guide should be between 2 and 3 mm., the more space the length of the screw to be used, ie to be filled within the board.

The screw size used should be according to the thickness of the board and should not be greater than 20% of board thickness.

We recommend using a knurled screw-thread run and cross section designed for particle boards. Not recommended the use of nails or screws used for traditional solid wood.
To cover with laminate, veneer or other materials, you can use white glue or contact cement suitable for these applications and following controlled processes with proven technologies.
To ensure stability and durability of the board, we recommend sealing the edges with edges, silicone or paint.
