Storage and Transportation

1.When loading and unloading panels must be lifted by hand vertically without slipping over each other to avoid damaging the board surface.

2. It is recommended to clean the surfaces and remove any strange material before stacking boards on top of each other.

3. Do not stand or walk on the boards.

4. Take care of the boards surfaces trying not to beat them.

5. . Do not place anything likely to affect panel surfaces, such as: rough, wet, hot, heavy objects or chemicals.

1. Verify that the storage room floor is leveled.
2. Place wood strips of the same size, symmetrically and equidistant from each other, separated up to 650 mm between them.
3. Put 2 caps (top and bottom) at least 3.6 mm thick and same size of the board. You should put 4 bands across the width and 2 bands across the stage packed. For export purposes, an additional band is required for the formation of the base.
4. To avoid board scratches while transporting with a forklift, do not touch the bottom of the boards with the machine´s forks We recommend using a base, such as a board or a pallet, for protection.
5. During transport and storage, do not expose the panels to extreme temperature and humidity variations. Avoid panels to be directly exposed to water or sunlight.
6. Both for freight and for the unloading, packages have either legs or packaging that allows forklift entry, obtaining a correct handling and no damage to the boards.
7. For easy identification, packages are marked with the number of boards per package, quality, product and dimensions. This leads to a proper and orderly storage.

1. Transport is done in packages, properly strapping and protected with lids on top and bottom, as well as plastic corners and plastic angles to prevent damage by pressure from the board.
2. Packages must be secured to prevent slipping and damage to panels.
3. Pallets should be stacked and strapped properly / bands.
4. Truck bed should be flat and clean.
5. Trucks will have to hold the pallets with stripes, bands or strings using the angles.
6. Pallets must be coated with a tarp to prevent damage to the edges and protect the material from rain and sunlight.

Sunlight.- It is not recommended to expose the boards directly to sunlight.

Humidity .- Keep material in dry and ventilated places at all times. Moisture can cause warping to the boards.

Temperature .- Do not expose material to extreme temperatures or fire.

Position .-Panels preferably need to be stored off the floor, preferably on wooden slats. At least 4 strips should be placed under each stage and must be aligned when storing multiple pallets on one another.

Packing .- packaging and identification of pallets are made according to customer requirements, considering transport means, distances and regulations, thereby safeguarding the quality of the provided product.

Cleaning Surfaces.- If it is duraplac Melamine chipboard, use a damp clean cloth. For Crudo duraplac chipboard, duraplac RH, duraplac Foil, duraplac Chapa, you can use a brush or a soft bristle brush, never a damp cloth.

All transportation must be made observing safety measures, such as:

* Vehicles in good condition.
* Clean platform.
* tent TO cover all the goods transported.
* Chains or bands that will have their respective angles to metal or plastic to the edges to pallets.
* It is better to do with band or strip to nylon.
* Use manila for securing the tent to the platform.
