PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION AND SPECIFICATIONS

COTOPAXI Particle Board

It is a three-layer board formed by agglomerated particles or wooden chips selected by sizes to which resin is added and applied a high-pressure process and temperature. Additionally these boards can be veneered with decorative wooden foils, melamine and decorative papers.

A mix of Urea Formaldehyde’s resin composes the adhesive used in its production. The particle board complies with the following specifications or international norms: DIN 68761; DIN 68750; ANSI A208.1; ANSI A208.1(M-3); ANSI A208.1 (M-S).

The formol emission and contents are strictly controlled to comply with the American Standard National norms (ANSI 208.1-1993) for agglomerates.

Under these specifications the following types of boards are manufactured:

COTOPAXI PARTICLE BOARD
Acoplac® Raw particle board or without covering.
COTOPAXI FOIL Pacoplac® Particle board covered with decorative paper.
COTOPAXI MELAMINA Duraplac®

Particle board covered with melamine papers.
VENEERED COTOPAXI

Madeplac®
Particle board covered with wooden foils.

COTOPAXI Particle board RH

The adhesive used for its production is a resin Melamine Urea Formol MUF elaborated under quality norms and classified as V100, which grants a high resistance to humidity. The RH Particle Boards comply with French norm NFB51-263.
